As a local, independent registered charity, Citizens Advice Hillingdon provides free, impartial, and confidential advice to support residents in overcoming life’s challenges. Our expert team offers guidance on a wide range of issues, ensuring individuals and families have access to the information and support they need to make informed decisions.

Benefits
Talk to us about issues with your benefits, or get information on areas like PIP, Universal Credit, or child benefits.

Employment
We'll help you address all types of workplace problems, including issues with discrimination or redundancy.

Health
We can help. We'll guide you through NHS health costs and services, including mental health support, assistance for people living with cancer, and access to local social care services for older or vulnerable residents. We work in partnership with Macmillan Cancer Support and Adult Social Care to support those facing health challenges.

Consumer
We will guide you on making a full complaint about faulty goods, bad service, or think you may have been scammed, we can also provide useful advice if you are struggling with your energy bills or need to make your home more energy efficient.

Debt and money
Discuss how to better manage your debt or get money advice from our trained specialists.

Family
Access support for a variety of family issues, from getting child maintenance to ending a relationship.

Housing
Get advice about your tenancy, whether you live in social housing, private sector or a home owner, we can help with your mortgage difficulties, council tax arears, homelessness, evictions or disputes with your neighbours.

Armed forces, Veterans and their families
We can help you to navigate services and financial help available to you, advice and support can range from care homes for veterans and welfare benefit assistance for disabled ex-service personnel.

Hillingdon Food Bank - If you have accessed the foodbank within the past two years and require specialist help to get back on track, this could be employment advice, access to welfare benefits or debt advice, we can help you onsite at the Hillingdon Food bank. Hillingdon Employment Project - If you are struggling at work our employment project can help you to negotiate with your employer, understand maternity and parental rights, check if you can get sick pay, provide advice and information around grievances, redundancy and employment tribunals. Macmillan Cancer Support -Through our Macmillan Project, we help individuals and families affected by cancer access benefits, grants, and financial support. Whether you're a patient, carer, or bereaved family member, our team provides free, confidential advice to ease financial burdens during challenging times. Benefit and Appeals Project - We help clients to maximise their benefits, we can also help you to appeal against a decision made by DWP. Project funded by Trust for London.

Improving lives project - We can provide budgeting support to ensure you have improved financial capacity. Project funded by Henry Smith.

Debt and Benefits Project - We help you with income maximisation and debt management for clients in financial difficulty. Project funded by City Bridge Trust.
