Why this project exists
Many residents do not access support until problems reach crisis point, particularly those facing financial hardship, poor health or social isolation.
Our evidence shows that barriers to accessing help early can lead to worsening issues around income, housing and wellbeing.
Connected Communities was developed to bring advice and support directly into local neighbourhoods,
helping people access the right help earlier,
reduce the risk of crisis and
strengthen connections between residents and local services.
