Citizens Advice Hillingdon seeks a Generalist Adviser  
Citizens Advice Hillingdon provides free, impartial, and confidential advice, supporting our community with benefits, debt, housing, and employment challenges. We’re looking for a compassionate Generalist Adviser to provide expert advice and casework through face-to-face, telephone, and digital outreach, helping vulnerable residents overcome employment barriers and achieve financial stability. 
 
As a Generalist Adviser, you will work directly with people facing complex life challenges, ensuring they receive the right support and guidance. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact, delivering high-quality advice and contributing to social policy work that drives positive change for the community. 
We are hiring poster - Generalist Advisor

The successful candidate 

Will work within our advice team, delivering high-quality generic advice and casework on employment, benefits, debt, and housing etc. Clients access the service by phone, face-to-face, and email. The role also involves providing outreach services in community settings. 

You will demonstrate 

You will have highly developed listening, communication, and interpersonal skills to handle emotional and complex situations, balancing empathy with professionalism. Strong technical knowledge, a flexible approach to work, and a commitment to equality and Citizens Advice quality standards are essential, ensuring efficient and consistent delivery to meet targets.
