Citizens Advice Hillingdon is pleased to be working in partnership with REAP (Refugees in Effective and Active Partnership) to deliver a Connected Community Day, helping residents better understand their rights around benefits and employment. Funded by The National Lottery Community Fund, this free event will provide practical information, expert advice and the opportunity to speak directly with advisers in a welcoming community setting.
Helping You Understand Your Rights
Whether you're starting work, claiming benefits, or unsure how employment may affect your entitlement, this event is designed to help you avoid common problems and make informed decisions.
The day will include:
Understanding Benefits Without Getting It Wrong, an informative session explaining benefit rules and avoiding common mistakes.
Employment & Contracts, Know Your Rights- practical guidance on employment rights, contracts and workplace protections.
Advice Stall: free information, advice and guidance from Citizens Advice Hillingdon advisers.
Community Lunch -hosted by REAP, providing an opportunity to meet others and connect with local services.
