A quick snapshot of this month’s updates
Our April Citizens Advice Hillingdon newsletter was published on 30 April and is now available to read online or download. This edition shares key updates from across the borough, including our new website launch, the first Connected Communities event, and important welfare changes residents should know about.
What’s inside the April newsletter
A more accessible, user‑friendly website
Pages 2–3 introduce our newly redesigned website, created to make it easier for residents to find clear, reliable information and access support. The updated layout, improved navigation and enhanced accessibility features are all designed with our community in mind.
Connected Communities: Financial Resilience launch
On page 4, you’ll find highlights from our very first Connected Communities session, held in Harefield and focused on financial resilience. Residents received personalised advice on budgeting, benefits, energy costs and local support options.
Important welfare updates
Page 5 provides a summary of recent welfare changes and what they mean for residents. These updates are especially helpful for anyone navigating benefits, income changes or cost‑of‑living pressures.
Specialist support across our services
Pages 6–9 showcase the ongoing work of our specialist teams, including employment advice, health‑related support and foodbank referrals. These services continue to play a vital role in helping residents manage complex challenges.
