Why this project exists?
Our evidence shows rising employment insecurity, particularly for people with:
long-term health conditions,
disabilities,
caring responsibilities and
those navigating low-paid or insecure work.
Employment problems are often closely linked to financial hardship, stress and deteriorating wellbeing.
Access to employment legal aid is extremely limited, and many local law centres are experiencing funding pressures. As a result, vulnerable workers are frequently left without timely legal advice when issues escalate. This project exists to address that gap.
How we help?
We provide free, confidential employment law advice and specialist casework to residents of Hillingdon and surrounding boroughs, supporting people who are unable to access legal aid or afford private legal support.

with community-based access, helping reduce barriers linked to health, work patterns and confidence.
Who this is for?
This service prioritises residents facing complex employment issues that cannot be resolved through self-help or information alone, particularly where employment problems are contributing to wider instability or risk of crisis.
