Car: In adjacent Local Authority Car Park, entrance off St. Martins Approach

Ruislip CAB office is in the north of the borough.  Housing is mixed, mainly owner-occupied but with a fair proportion of tenants in both the private and public sectors.  On the surface this appears a fairly affluent area which masks a certain amount of "lace-curtain poverty" with owner occupiers living on very low incomes as the area has a higher than average elderly population.  There is an ethnic minority population of approximately 10%.

The office moved to its present premises in June 1989.  The offices have three interview rooms and disabled access.  It is reasonably well served for public transport and has limited parking for staff.

We have been continuing to “embrace” technology, with staff exploring the benefits of using email and using the Internet as an additional source of information.
